IAPA LEGISLATION ACTION ALERT — HAVE DOCTORS SEND LETTERS IMMEDIATELY TO STATE MEDICAL SOCIETY AND LEADER FEIGENHOLTZ

The Illinois State Medical Society and the Illinois General Assembly are currently reviewing the outdated and unfair state regulations and policies that require a ratio of one doctor for every five PAs practicing in Illinois.
This is great news and we have been asked by ISMS to have members of the State Medical Society send letters to ISMS asking for the ratio to be eliminated. This letter to ISMS should only be sent by members of ISMS. Doctors who are not members of ISMS should just send letters directly to Leader Feigenholtz.
Drafts of both letters are available to download below. Feel free to personalize them with specific stories from the physician’s medical practice.
Please finish all letters immediately — but by December 15 at the latest — and make a signed PDF copy on the doctor’s letterhead and send that copy to Kristin Rubbelke of our lobbyist team at kristin@danshomon.com.
