The Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants wants to thank the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation for listening to the concerns of PAs across Illinois and implementing electronic renewals for all PA licenses.

On December 20, 2019, IDFPR government relations director Robert E. Dixon announced that despite earlier concerns about not being ready on time, the Department is now accepting online license renewals.
